As the seasons passed and the frozen winds of Northrend swept across the fjords and tundras, the Northrend Guardians continued their vigil.

What had begun as a small fellowship gradually matured into an organized Order. Travelers who had once been aided by the Guardians spoke highly of their deeds. Merchants found safer roads under their protection. Settlements that had long feared the dangers lurking beyond their walls began to regain a sense of stability and security.

Word of the Guardians spread not through proclamations or grand displays, but through the stories of ordinary people. Tales of successful rescues, safe journeys, and selfless service passed from traveler to traveler, carried across the inns, marketplaces, and ports of Northrend.

The Order asked for little in return.

Its members did not seek titles, wealth, or influence. Their purpose was simple: to serve where service was needed and to stand watch where others could not. In a land still recovering from years of conflict, such dedication earned the respect of both common folk and local leaders alike.

In many ways, this philosophy distinguished the Guardians from countless organizations that had come before them. They measured success not by territory gained or enemies defeated, but by the safety and prosperity of those they protected.

Warriors arrived from Stormwind and Ironforge.

Some sought purpose.

Others sought fellowship.

Though their numbers remained modest, the foundations of a lasting legacy had begun to emerge. The Order was no longer sustained solely by its founders. New voices joined its ranks. New experiences enriched its culture. New generations began carrying forward the values established during its earliest days.

Within the halls of Westguard Keep, friendships were forged that would endure for years. Veterans shared stories of past expeditions. Recruits learned lessons earned through hardship and sacrifice. Traditions slowly emerged, strengthening the bonds that united the growing Order.

Yet even as stability returned to parts of Northrend, the leaders of the Guardians recognized an important truth.

The world beyond the frozen north was changing.

Reports arrived from distant lands.

New conflicts emerged.

Ancient mysteries resurfaced.

The challenges facing Azeroth extended far beyond the borders of Northrend.

Though few realized it at the time, the years spent safeguarding the frontier had prepared the Guardians for a greater responsibility. The lessons learned amidst the snow and ice would one day guide them far beyond the walls of Westguard Keep.

The first watch had been kept.

The first foundations had been laid.

And beyond the horizon, a new chapter awaited.

The age of the Northrend Guardians had begun.

The age of the Sentinels had yet to come.
